Am using Jerboa aswell, like it overall!
My only struggle is - particularly on image posts - to hit the right area to open the comments and not the image, not the OP profile or anything else.

yes, this drives me nuts as well. In generale the whole process of reaching the comments is not that smooth. For example I wouldn't mind reaching the username of OP or the istance AFTER opening the post

Jerboa but it is very rough round the edges.

  • can't create a community
  • cant link to the discussion from inbox replies
  • finding communities on the search function is busted (but this is a wider lemmy bug)
  • can't just type a community address to go there (or at least I can't figure it out)
  • several bits are quite unintuitive

However it is still early days and will undoubtedly improve

It does have glorious dark mode though

Using Jerboa currently, but it's pretty clunky unfortunately for me.

Same for me, waiting for Sync

[–] Amex@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 years ago

It's been getting quite a bit better over the last few weeks with more contributors

I'm using Jerboa. It's pretty good, but some things are unintuitive. For example, I don't know how to navigate to a reply from my inbox.

[–] AdamEatsAss@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

I haven't been able to figure that out either. I'm not sure it's something that can be done right now.

Memmy on iOS. Already pretty polished, and more so than Mlem (though I hope development on both continues…choice is good!) Dev is updating very regularly too.

Jeroba for now but I'm looking forward to checking out the other apps being made for it.

Jerboa, but I haven't noticed much of the jank others complain about, like the scrolling issue.

I'm pretty happy with Jerboa. I am primarily a browser/desktop user, so having a somewhat limited mobile client hasn't been bothering me. And it seems to be moving toward a fuller experience.

Firefox PWA for now.

I'm using Progressive Web App off MS Edge, Jerboa is way too rough for me atm

Firefox shortcut

I jump between Mlem and Memmy on iOS.

Mlem is definitely more slick and loads images better.

Memmy feels more feature rich (currently) but I don’t like how the account switching works.

I’m a bigger fan of Mlem personally, it feels closer to what Apollo was and could see it heading more in that direction.

[–] PerogiBoi@lemmy.ca 1 points 2 years ago

Agreed. Just need to get a working inbox and then I don’t have to use the web app haha

[–] kabukimeow@lemmy.world -1 points 2 years ago

The same as for Reddit: Chrome

[–] 6368_39162@lemm.ee -2 points 2 years ago

None. I used Reddit on old. Convince me why an app is needed
