Ugh, another >$100 SBC that ships without PoE.

That's a bummer, but I think the big thing about this is that it uses the open source RISC-V CPU architecture.

The processor is an 8-core chip with SpacemiT K60 CPU cores that support frequencies up to 1.6 GHz and support for the RISC-V 64GCBV and RVA22 standards. It also has an NPU with up to 2 TOPS of AI performance and an Imagination BXE-2-32 GPU.

I think the K60 is a typo for the X60. Going to SpacemiT web site you find this

It's a Raspberry Pi level CPU. The interesting part is the NPU and GPU. They don't say the NPU is Imagination but I suspect it might be. Biggest problem here is drivers. Imagination have released driver code for their GPUs, but it was last updated a year ago. I've never seen anything for their NPU.

That's not fast enough. One thing I used to use SBC for was minecraft server - and Raspberry pi level CPU is barely enough.

Nobody but tens torrent is currently making anything faster in Risc-v. They are all in-order dual issue 1.5-2Ghz cores or less.

What do people mean by "Raspberry pi level CPU"? That of the Pi 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5?

For minecraft? The fastest one
