They don't called them "wholesalers" for nothing...

Is this not an average size sweet potato where y'all are from?
Where I live, this is just your standard size tuberf. Maybe a bit on the girthy side, but normally they are at least the length of my forearm.
No, sweet potatoes here are usually about the size of a fist. Length of a forearm? That's impressive. And way too much, I'd end up chucking most of it away.
Actually I find it annoying because I struggle to find one small enough to buy. I live alone, so if I buy one, I have to make sure I've got a few different meals planned to use it in, like a curry, a roast, and the leftovers in a salad.
Although some grocers sell halved ones wrapped in plastic when the whole ones are too big. I think we just have a good climate for them here.
There's one grocer I go to that sells mega ones that dwarf the OP picture. Maybe 2-3kg each.
That so cool
I wish I could get a monster 3kg sweet potato
Holy the record for the biggest sweet potato is 37kg (81 pound in shitty unit) I thought they were just the size of my hand at most !

hey can you just remove the /amp bit? amp sucks and the page loads fine without it.
I had no idea amp was a thing and I'm supposed to be a dev 😅

I find it interesting that you, somehow, linked an article where 186 lbs is in the title and mistakenly exclaimed the previous world record - all so that you can dunk on the unit of measurement.
I don't even know what to call this behavior.
Sweet.
Potato.
Stop. Yammertime.
Now that I’ve been presented to “that EMT guy”, (@emtbadge502) all I can think is “…. NO.”
I just think they’re neat.
