Probably unpopular opinion: green walls look shit.
The texture/colour doesn't match the geometry and that displeases my eye.

As someone who loves the solarpunk aesthetic and does not share your opinion: that’s valid.
“Sleek” and “let nature be” are a contrast and that can be jarring for some.
In this particular instance it reminds me of trees like this: 
However, in general I agree that it can be off-putting.
It looks neat enough when I zoom in, but not so much from a distance.
