A humorous and clever tattoo I found online.

If by ADHD tattoo you mean that I have an overly ambitious piece on my shoulder/back that is unfinished and poorly thought out? Then yes. Yes I do.

There's not a single design or statement that I like so much, that I'd want to permanently ink it into my skin. Getting tattoos is common in my family, but it's not for me. They just turn into an ugly, blurry mess as you age, anyway.

No, I have ADHD so I usually forget it exists, lol.

But also I have ADHD so I am good in a crisis and kinda built my life around that skill, which is why I got the tattoo in the first place (and of course my love of Douglas Adams).

It has also saved me from a bad trip a couple of times, so that's nice.

If it saved you from a bad trip then I would argue that it has indeed worked ;)

Love it. I have this tattoo as well, in big black bold letters. Almost same font size, but more compact on my upper arm. Still love it everyday

My guess is a lower leg, pulled up

Or a weird looking arm

Pretty sure it's an upside-down forearm; note their hair toward the bottom-left of the photo.

[–] Test_Tickles@lemmy.world 2 points 2 days ago (1 children)

If I ignore the tattoo, it could be a forearm, but who the fuck is supposed to be reading it if it is a forearm? The only way it would make any sense is if you only cared about people reading it while you were doing pullups, otherwise it's always upside down or facing backwards.

[–] techt@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago (1 children)

I think you still have it upside-down? The wrist is the bottom of the tattoo, so while doing pullups it would be inverted. It's legible while standing, shaking hands, reaching out, etc.

Ok, I get it now.

Oh, right. Looks very normal if you turn it 180

This was a wild optical illusion

Great taste aweful execution

What's the third word? I'm guessing it's "Hunting" but it looks like hnnting

[–] Swedneck@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 3 days ago

another day, HNNNNNNNG, dopamine!

[–] Appoxo@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 3 days ago

The "u" and "n" have different "feet" at the letters.
And yes, it's "hunting"

Should just say "another day"
