That's an awful summary.

If need be, there are also bans: 3 days for lighter offenses, 7 or 14 days for bigger offenses, and permanent bans for people who don't show any willingness to participate productively. If we think the ban reason is obvious, we may not specifically write to you.
If you want to protest a removal or ban, feel free to write privately to the primary mod account @EuroMod@feddit.org

Fun fact: EU commission also has a Mastodon account, so if you use software that supports following users (Like mbin) you can follow them directly from here โ @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu
I voted.
But we still have those in Europe?
Yes.
Dark blue is fully banned, light only for medical personal and yellow is ban in the works.
Also important to note, though, that something not being outright banned doesn't mean there's a particular problem with it as legislation is often reactive. Not to say I don't find a potential ban great, but the lack of legislation, at least in some countries, probably just means that it doesn't happen and there thus has been no use for an actively prohibitive law
What is a "conversion" , ? Those treatments where the medics get their pockets full of money and the patient gets mutilated and in several cases with heavy health issues even regretting the procedure?
It is a process to turn an LGBTQ+ person into a cis men or women. Being LGBTQ+ is not an illness so any sort of procedure is unnecessary. With some of the stuff they do, like brain surgery it also has some massive potential site effects. Obviously some people make a lot of money with it too.
Calling them medics is way to kind.
Slight correction: it's not about cis or trans, but rather about homosexuals being brainwashed into being heterosexuals.
Oh they try it on trans people too, to similar (horrific) effect.
