Yeah, GM was working with California in a fairly constructive way for several years. This is a major flip from that.

It's a change from their recent position; they were one of the automakers which worked with California on an ICE phase-out starting 2019.

Remember when they used OnStar to track and then sell their customer's acceleration and braking data so their insurance rates would go up?
