5. Only recent news is allowed.
Posts must be news from the most recent 30 days.
6. All posts must be news articles.
No opinion pieces, Listicles, editorials or celebrity gossip is allowed. All posts will be judged on a case-by-case basis.
7. No duplicate posts.
If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.
8. Misinformation is prohibited.
Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.
9. No link shorteners.
The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.
10. Don't copy entire article in your post body
For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.
The thumbnail really drives it home. I've got a 5 year old and I can't imagine walking in that guy's shoes. Before writing this sentence she came to me and said "daddy can we snuggle?" If something happened to her I'd be immediately weaponized.

A week or so ago, an Israeli minister vowed that Gaza will be "entirely destroyed". In English, we thankfully have an eloquent word that comes from ancient greek that means "to entirely destroy by fire": and that word is fucking "holocaust"

When I had my account in lemmy.world, at one point my e-mail address for that account was leaked to Israel and I started getting e-mails in my native tongue from a Tel-Aviv based organisation inviting me to attend one of their "know Israel" online courses.
So I suspect somebody with access to the full user database in lemmy.world (which I believe only an Admin would have) is at the very least a hard core Zionist, possibly an Israeli sockpuppet.

Religions are an attempt to understand what we can't measure and are probably the origin of any critical thought or philosophical discussion
That said if you take these religions as they claim, their deity is literally doing EVERYTHING for reasons you can't understand whether that's Karmic in nature or some unfolding events we can't understand or some cosmic war of good and evil.

While the European broadcast agency censors the boos from the crowd and the shouts of free Palestine. I’m pretty sure it was a concerted effort to gain points. I’d be curious to know how many votes it takes in each country to get the points they did. I’d prefer them spending money on propaganda for their image and wasting it on Eurovision votes than buying bombs and bullets.
I just saw a video that Israel did a lot of propoaganda/ads in social media to get people to vote for them. Got no proof though. Still there have to be people who voted for Israel and I got no idea who would do that... Like the song wasn't even great.
