Serious question. We used to have huge numbers and they’re dying out in a whimper. Clearly this community isn’t getting traction anymore (I blame Reddit). We need to gather big numbers to fight back! Where else are people organizing?? And don’t just say r/50501Movement because clearly splitting us up reduced numbers on both subs.

The police, politicians, and maga, none of them are mad about the protests. Why do you think that is? It's because they're not a problem. If they're not a problem, then they're not effective. Nobody wants to stand around waving signs and smiling at each other. We're also not interested in voting for more centrist democrats and their strongly worded letters. Democrats and republicans are obviously two sides of the same coin. We need to go further left, and we need to get real pissed off, real fast.

People are exhausted. The protest have had little traction, the media barely covered them and downplayed them when they did. We played by the rules and got protest approved, we were non disruptive, made it easy to ignore us. If we want to have any affect we need to take cues from the French. We need to be disruptive we need to break the systems. But doing this will have a cost, there will be violence from police, there will be jail. Until more people are willing to pay that price we are just treating water, sadly.
