I don't see the problem, let players do ridiculous things, just throw skill checks at them for everything till they critically fail and drown themselves in their own urine.

My DM let me drink a healing potion to make a bottle, piss in it, and throw it at a wolf. I rolled a nat one and it shattered on my character and his bedroll
Constitution saving throw. DC 18. 1d4 damage and smells of piss for 24 hours with disadvantage on stealth rolls due to smell on failure.
