My first department head during my apprenticeship had a mug like that for his Coke Light. Takes me back a quarter of a century. Damn, I'm getting old.

I just tried to open a soda can with my somewhat modern can opener (try them, btw, no sharp can edges) but it doesn't fit the lid of my can. My day is ruined.
Not recommended, you could cut yourself on the edge.
