Pretty good shave with the straight. I need to get some more practice in with this thing.

Two passes, just a small nick on my jawline. Decent shave.

Travel shave. Yesterday, Djunior and I went to see the world's largest Lego museum, and they have a big Star Wars exhibit. I think this might be his favourite place.

Crangère is lovely, really glad I picked it up.

  • Brush: Omega - 10077 Boar
  • Razor: Henson - AL13++
  • Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
  • Lather: Catie's Bubbles - Menage a Lavande - Soap
  • Post Shave: Catie's Bubbles - Florentine Fern - Aftershave

Thanks to u/socialkittielynx for the MaL smush. This is my first ever 100% lavender scent from an artisan and I really enjoyed it. Lavender is a note is in a ridiculous amount of fragrances, but I have never been able to pick it out. This soap has a softer presentation, but to me there is just a very subtle sharpness that is incredible, it is hard for me to describe. The smush is big enough to get another 2 shaves, so I look forward to using it again these next few days.

  • Brush: Wolf Whiskers - "Gianmaria" w/Maggard 26mm Synthetic
  • Razor: Chiseled Face Legacy Raw Titanium - (#69)
  • Blade: Personna P74 (97)
  • Lather: Abbate y La Mantia - Garibaldi - Soap
  • Post Shave: Barbasol - Brisk - Aftershave
  • Post Shave: Dove - Men+Care Ultra-Hydra - Cream
  • Fragrance: Berceuse Parfum - Minneapolis 5.3 - EdP

I loaded super heavy and the lather was unlike anything else I have in my den. Even though Coconut Oil is the #1 ingredient, this is the least puffy lather I have. It just doesn't get big. Adding water just waters it down -- it's either a thick hair conditioner or a thin hair conditioner depending on how much water you add. It's both wonderful and horrible at the same time.

Minneapolis 5.3 is definitely in my wheelhouse. It's a thicc scent and I like it.
