MODERATORS
I lived like this the first year of my postdoc and couldn't have been happier. I had 4 place settings but only used one and washed it after every meal. Desk, computer, one camp chair, and an inflatable mattress. Stayed that way until my wife joined me my second year and made me get a real apartment.
I don't get why people hate on this. Do all the useless nick-nacks actually add something to their lives?
If this is all you need, what's the problem?
Yes, the knick-knacks are my most prized possessions. Crystal balls, monkey skulls, old clocks—these are the building blocks of my happiness. Nothing brings me more joy than a perfectly arranged curio cabinet. It is like an OCD orgasm.

Having more stuff doesn't mean less dust. It means more things with dust on it.
You can keep your living space as clean or dirty as you like. With all the open space you can use those big duster mops.
Probably take like 5 minutes. Those are over a meter wide

Don't use that mop thing. Takes the fun out of it.
Get a cloth, hold it in a good shape on the floor with you hands, put a bit of your weight on it and start running straight forward.
You save on the Gym membership and get to do something much more fun than sitting on synthetic leather and moving a dumb-bell up and down, slowly.
that's why you get a little robot friend to clean it for you

Beeds to be smaller. That is just empty space that need to be cleaned. Also it being so large seems like it would be cold on lonely winter nights

Especially the column in the middle, just cover it with wood and add various hooks, a transformer table (closed normally, open when you want to sip tea without display glow near you) and maybe something to make the space less open while sleeping. I dunno, a cloth instead of a wall.
And if this doesn't have a window, maybe not too good.
Man, I am too old to sleep on the floor. I also prefer a separate bedroom without electronic distractions. But I do love me some minimalism.

I'm a gal. Replace the floor with carpet and add plushies and a dresser and boom. Perfection.
I also love using VR though, and that'd be an amazing VR space.
