Likely by opening the link inside a sandbox tab in discord. As opposed to an external browser.

Maybe relayed via their own servers so your home up isn't used but that means discord can mitm the connection.

I waited for a minute after this but it does not seem to actually do or show anything lol. The button now gets stuck in this screen
