This is how all world leaders should treat the rapist piece of garbage.

Perfect combo of comedy, humility and well placed disrespect. Bravo.

Funny thing:

When I read 'Scottish National Party', I immediately thought 'Wow, even right wingers hate Trump'.

Turns out that party is left-wing.

Makes sense for Scotland though, since many Scots want to have their independence.

They're centrists, in theory. But considering our 'Labour' party behave like moderate right-wingers, and the Tories are attempting beat Reform for the title of 'most unhinged right-wingers', then they come off as very left in comparison.

A tale as old as time. At least your centrists have at least an ounce of bravery.

Yep, international politics gets wacky pretty quickly. Similar situation with the word "republican" (small R) like in Ireland.

Not just some backbench MP either, he's the SNP leader in Westminster. Essentially making him an unofficial co-leader with John Swinney.

There was no SNP presence that I saw at Saturday's protest, whereas the Greens had several speakers. However, the Greens and SNP do work together regularly, so despite not showing at the grassroots level it's good to see there's still resistance to Trump within the SNP.

Can't be too careful with ~25% of the UK population voting Reform.

I was going to write a witty comment, but I've got to watch the paint dry on my wall.

Should we all move to Scotland?

[–] SubArcticTundra@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 weeks ago

I want Scotland to move to us :(

[–] KSPAtlas@sopuli.xyz 2 points 2 weeks ago

I've been noticing more and more Americans showing up, so maybe it's already happening?

[–] HiddenLayer555@lemmy.ml 7 points 2 weeks ago

Meanwhile Trump just throws his toupee in the washing machine

Nice one, Stephen.

Just one more case of the SNP talking sense.
