Alas I did not. I do not know my mushrooms enough to know what is and isn't safe to eat.

I don’t know anything about mushrooms another than it looks incredibly inviting 😀

Wow. That specimen will probably dry extremely well too. Some mushrooms simply do not dry very well, unfortunately. :(

Dry it, give it a nice lacquer coat or two, and put it on the mantle.
