In Florida, it’s illegal to sell raw milk for human consumption. However, it is legal for pet consumption, creating a loophole for people to still buy raw milk for themselves, said food safety lawyer Bill Marler.

Ha! The ones who had the raw milk are probably the same ones who don't vaccinate

I heard there is a French guy working on this problem. I hope he publishes before more people are sickened by feces contaminated milk.

they even have a INSTITUTE and a term used to sterilized food products named after him.

Raw milk is for dumbfucks. Pasteur was celebrated for a reason.

[–] Spacehooks@reddthat.com 2 points 1 day ago

May Nurgle blessings on all his followers.

[–] Treczoks@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Well, they are a death cult, so I suppose suicide by raw milk is a valid way.

Just let them heal thyself. They don't believe in vaccines and pasteurization then they don't believe in antibiotics and zofran. Either you believe in science or not there's no picking and choosing, it's not religion.

Either you believe in science or not there’s no picking and choosing, it’s not religion.

Damn, this little line actually explains a lot. Someone raised on cherry-picked scripture probably thinks you can pick and choose which science to follow, too. It ties in with the stupid argument of "science is another belief." They have no concept of a system that works despite "belief," where certain results are bound to happen repeatedly no matter how you feel about it.

[–] Cosmonauticus@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Yeah but let's no go down the science is perfect route. Science is only as perfect as the scientist involved and humanity is DEFINITELY flawed/biased

[–] aesthelete@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

The scientific method is an excellent thing. Individual scientists may or may not adhere to it but the scientific method itself is about as close to a perfect method for obtaining (or perhaps more accurately approximating) truth as we're likely to get in this universe.

[–] ElcaineVolta@kbin.melroy.org 4 points 2 days ago (1 children)

oh they're getting tons of antibiotics

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago

and bacterial biotoxins too.

The agency urged residents to make informed decisions about consuming raw milk

The Florida health department noted that consumers report benefits of raw milk consumption, including better taste and protective effects for asthma and allergies, in a press release before detailing the complications tied to the outbreak stemming from one farm.

🤦‍♂️

[–] Pacattack57@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Bro who is drinking milk for taste!? If I’m not using it in coffee, a recipe, or cereal, I’m not drinking milk. Why are people putting my their lives on the line for better tasting milk?

[–] kometes@lemmy.world 6 points 1 day ago (1 children)

[–] silence7@slrpnk.net 4 points 1 day ago

[–] Etterra@discuss.online 1 points 1 day ago

Too bad it didn't sicken the one believer on the country whose absence would only improve the lives of everyone else.

[–] throbbing_banjo@lemmy.world 12 points 2 days ago

If only this could have been prevented🙄

[–] devolution@lemmy.world 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

If these people consciously do this shit knowing the risk, then they should be denied medical care.

[–] swelter_spark@reddthat.com 1 points 16 hours ago

So many illnesses and injuries can be traced back to something the person did.

[–] pressedhams@lemmy.blahaj.zone 8 points 2 days ago (1 children)

[–] NotMyOldRedditName@lemmy.world 5 points 2 days ago (1 children)

[–] ickplant@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

[–] P00ptart@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

Crows, and ravens are my favorite animals.

Good. Lesson probably isn't learned, but good none the less.

These people probably don't rinse their mushrooms since they seem to love gobbling down horseshit.

[–] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago
