I'm genuinely sick of seeing his face, hearing his voice or even being told by the news about the new stupid shit he said today. I'm sick of the people who idolize him when it should be so blatantly obvious to anyone with even a shred of human decency that every word in OP's post is accurate.
This man is the embodiment of our inadequacy as a species.
Getting you overwhelmed is a strategy do not give in its tough seeing every single day something cruel and stupid. I am tired of him too. But i won't block or filter him. We should not look away.
Don't bury your head in the sand, but also know your limits. It's okay, and even desirable, to unplug from what's going on in the world for the sake of your mental health from time to time.

Same here. I intentionally cover his face with my thumb whenever I can. I loathe the way he speaks, the way he looks, and the way he talks over the people he's talking to, including Fox hosts who are doing nothing but licking his asshole. I can't wait for the day he expires.

That was the main reason why I was pissed off at his first and then again second election. Even here in Europe he was going to dominate the news cycle every single fucking day. And we are all dumber for having to listen to his incoherent blabbering.
When Biden won in 2020, I was so relieved. He wasn't my pick in the primary, but the news wasn't a constant stream of embarrassment and frustration. I hate that he's back and so much worse.
As a nation you mean, not a species. I've been to so many countries where this man would never have made it to anything let alone fucking president. Trump didnt happen out of a vacuum, there is a very real fascist ROT in the core of the United States that needs to be dealt with once and for all.

People keep pointing out stuff like this but a country that has even the barest amount of collective sanity wouldn’t have even let him get beyond the party primary. 25% is a staggering number. Ya’ll I know that it still matters to say it and I’m not saying to stop but I keep hearing it in a context that heavily implies the rest of the world is ignorant for “not getting it” when we definitely already know there are good people in the US. At this point, the reaction (and non-reaction) of the general public has been enough to show me that there is tacit support. Each group has their "red line," I imagine, where they'll suddenly give a shit when their gardener gets deported or whatever... But somehow we haven't hit that line yet for most people, and it's fucking depressing.

It was a story going around on reddit a couple of months ago about a guy claiming to be a whistleblower. Some guy claiming he was an ex intelligence agent or something, said he was part of an NSA audit on the election that showed definitively that Harris won, but his claims didn't have a lot of meat to them so I kind of discarded it as a hoax or whatever.
But there was some evidence presented by another account I can't remember. He showed some compelling irregularities in the results that seemed plausible. There is also the court case in NY with people signing affidavits claiming their votes were switched.
I'm on the shitter so I can't link anything right now, but hopefully that information from my poor recollection will help you find what you're looking for.
He was elected, after all, by more than half of the american voters. They either voted for him or didn't want to vote (implying that he was ok as a president).
So yeah, he IS the personalization of what a huge portion of america is.

Anyone able to vote and not voting for Harris is indirectly voting for Mango Hitler.
If you can vote and decide to not do it, you are saying you are ok with both candidates.
Truthfully though, i think a lot of those people are ok with either. They don't view politics as making any difference in their day-to-day lives and/or may be too busy or otherwise engaged to pay attention to the news (or perhaps even disinterested!). I know some people who are more or less apolitical. They don't talk about politics, they don't think about politics, and they don't seem overly concerned since Trump took office again. That's just in my small orbit though -- there are millions of people out there that have much different views than most of us here.
I sometimes think we get wrong idea about how popular are views/beliefs are because we're hanging out in an echo chamber to some degree.
