Remember after the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, the CEO of BP told reporters that "I just want my life to go back to normal?" Fuck CEOs.

[–] aceshigh@lemmy.world 61 points 2 days ago (2 children)

Interesting that CEO’s are idiots globally. It’s almost like you have to steal from people in order to accumulate big money.

[–] CileTheSane@lemmy.ca 19 points 2 days ago

The lack of morals, ethics, and shame also help.

And then you get photographic evidence of them being just the worst, and somehow they're the victim and you're the bad guy for documenting how shitty they are. Fuck I hate these people.

[–] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 57 points 2 days ago (1 children)

This is TERRIBLE! That his Company is being DOXXED! Let the CEO LIVE in PEACE while he Steals from Children!

-Conservatives!

[–] Bassman1805@lemmy.world 9 points 2 days ago

That is pretty much exactly what the guy's public statement about this incident said.

[–] YashaB@lemmy.world 39 points 2 days ago

A CEO has to do what a CEO has to do.

It is for the good of the stock owners.

[–] PolandIsAStateOfMind@lemmy.ml 80 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Fun fact: The guy's company produces paving stones, pretty handy to throw.

Fun fact two: Kid ultimately got another hat from the tennis player after the case got blown up and the player contacted him.

[–] But_my_mom_says_im_cool@lemmy.world 57 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It’s also heavily implied the player knows the rich asshole, since the asshole funds part of the tournament. Meaning he could have gotten a signed hat at any moment but decided he wanted to steal one from a child instead. He then doubles down and laughs at the kid and everyone else calling them losers while threatening legal action against anyone who calls him out. I heard he has now contacted the player to get a hold of the kid to “make it right” so it sounds like his company is now holding his feet to the fire.

[–] MotoAsh@lemmy.world 10 points 2 days ago

Yea, that kind of behavior tracks for CEOs. It's almost like they're all psychopaths that get off on making others suffer.

Ohhh but wait, capitalism is the best economic system ever to exist! So we just have to accept it!

[–] But_my_mom_says_im_cool@lemmy.world 77 points 3 days ago (7 children)

He’s a CEO, of course he’s a vile piece of shit who would steal from a child. Throw him in a volcano

This attitude is probably what made him a CEO in the first place.

[–] greenskye@lemmy.zip 117 points 3 days ago (2 children)

He doubled down when called out. Claimed 'anyone else would do the same' and threatened to sue anyone criticizing his actions. Zero remorse or reflection.

[–] silasmariner@programming.dev 27 points 3 days ago (1 children)

Lol you can't sue for defamation if your actions are on film 🤣

[–] MotoAsh@lemmy.world 6 points 2 days ago

Sure you can, if someone lies about it. Though unfortunately for this piece of shit no one is lying about how vile he is.

Also like he got it before it reached the kid's hand. So technically it was fair game and legal, but holyshit psyociopathically and shamefully immoral.

I bet he underpays his employees as immorally yet legaly possible thus increasing ~~slaveowners'~~ shareholders' returns as the successful CEO he is

[–] LillyPip@lemmy.ca 188 points 3 days ago (2 children)

Continuing to prove CEOs are leeches with no morals.

[–] IndustryStandard@lemmy.world 117 points 3 days ago (7 children)

The CEO wants you to know he won it fair and square

[–] Cethin@lemmy.zip 37 points 3 days ago (4 children)

With that attitude, if you kill him it's perfectly fine. You won fairly, so it's legitimate.

Here's a contact form for his company if you'd like to give him feedback.

https://www.drogbruk.pl/kontakt/

[–] ayyy@sh.itjust.works 10 points 2 days ago (1 children)

Lmao they took the site down

Thank you, submitted:

Powinieneś się wstydzić. Jakiż jesteś małym, małostkowym człowiekiem.

I hope my sentiment made it through my translator.

[–] PolandIsAStateOfMind@lemmy.ml 26 points 3 days ago

Yup, as native Polish speaker i can tell you it does contain quite some disdain.

[–] Bennyboybumberchums@lemmy.world 47 points 3 days ago

I won the hat because I am stronger

I mean, if thats the rule...

[–] LillyPip@lemmy.ca 50 points 3 days ago* (last edited 17 hours ago)

I bested a small child. Why won’t you worship me? Lol.

Thanks for that. It’s so much worse. Whether fake or not, it’s hilarious. e: it's fake, and hilarious.

[–] 0_o7@lemmy.dbzer0.com 13 points 2 days ago (1 children)

It's always "winning" for these people against people (here a kid) that can't defend themselves. It's almost like a trait with these fucks.

And it's comically sad this has a huge draw for some statistically significant number of people.

So like... is he taking challengers for the hat or what?

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 31 points 3 days ago (1 children)

No fucking way, is that actually real? This guy really wrote and posted this?

It's why they are CEOs and it's also why they get their company's to make so much money.

Multiply the behavior of stealing things from children a million fold and that's how CEOs make money for the company. They don't get to that position by being nice and adhering to morals.

Given the current state of things, they're being more entitled assholes. They're throwing their weight around harder because the powers-that-be and techbros are throwing away what they call DEI policies, and dusting off traditional hierarchies and stereotypes for restoration.

[–] But_my_mom_says_im_cool@lemmy.world 22 points 3 days ago (3 children)

It’s cause we won’t eat em. It’s never gonna happen either with how many poor people worship them, and how places like Reddit and Lemmy will ban you if you call for guillotines

"Drogbruk" means drug use in Swedish. Company name checks out.

What an absolute cunt. What could you possibly need so badly that you rip it from the grasp of a child, when you are a CEO.

[–] kautau@lemmy.world 49 points 3 days ago (25 children)

Yeah look at the grin on his face, he enjoys knowing that he has it and others don’t, he enjoyed grabbing it from that kid, and he’ll smile anytime he looks at it or tells the story about how he took it. This is the mentality of the vast majority of CEOs

You don't become a CEO by being caring and considerate.

Worth mentioning that Drog Bruk translates to Road Pavement. There are multiple drogbruk companies in Poland, and you need to be sure you have the right drogbruk in your sights if you want to express your displeasure towards Piotr.

Also worth mentioning, here's his apology- however shitty of an apology it may be, one does exist.

Please mind some instances have rules against doxxing. Somehow we seem to have forgot about that one rule, and sure hope no one would use our research/factcheck community !dociekliwosc@szmer.info for such posts.

You can’t doxx a public figure who is publicly posting their contact info
