dem leaders complicit in defending kirk, of course they are instead of you know criticizing kirk for fomenting this type of violence in the first place, and not condeming the far right. so many dems are actually DINOS anyways, so no surprise there. the senators that were murdered, the news got dropped almost as fast as they got killed, not a word from dems since.
U.S. Republicans have a warning for Americans: Mourn him respectfully or suffer the consequences.

I can’t say I feel sorry for him, specifically.
But anyone who can’t agree with the fact that us being here, where a man (whether you agree or not) was shot at a public event for his beliefs and people are celebrating it, is absolutely insane for things to have gotten to this level, needs to do a bit of thinking.
And I mean that as, whether you think it was his beliefs (which I fully believe are WILD) that led to him being shot because they had no basis in reality and only sowed hate or the guy who shot him was crazy and shot him, we all need to admit, this situation is so far out of normal that I’m not sure there’s a chance to go back.
Sure that's something to be addressed if the murderer is a leftwing extremist. All the evidence suggests this kid is an ultra-nationalist Groyper. Media silence all but confirms it.
The bigger issue is that conservatives care so much about what others think. If you see someone doing something you don't approve of you call them an asshole and move on. You don't threaten violent retribution and another Civil War.
Sure, people celebrating the death of Kirk is a bit unseemly, but they're not hurting anyone so leave them alone. This all comes back to control and I'm against bullies above all.
The bigger issue is that conservatives care so much about what others think.
They are essentially Puritans. At least when it comes to anyone the merest iota different from themselves:

Why the fuck should I mourn him. I barely knew who he was before he died. And seems he was against fun regulations even though kids where getting shot in schools so he seemed to die the way he liked.
As soon as they publish the location of the gravesite I'll be sure to wander over and leave my respects all over the gravestone. Gotta figure of enough people do it it'll trickle on down. Eat asparagus first.
