Funny how for many years, a mythical being like santa claus has been placed in the minds of children as this thing that only has value in so much as the majority believes it is exists.
Now we live in a timeline where a major world leader, (maybe more than one now that I think of it), wants to "boost" the American economy by keeping the billionaires happy, and wants to convince the majority that things like democracy and science aren't real.
Maybe we should have been teaching kids about the value of science, and how if we stopped caring about it, it might fade into obscurity, instead of some mythological fat dude that is mostly an excuse to spur economic activity these days.
ahh, didn't see which community I was in, but either way, without science, there is no hope, for any of us.
