DuckDuckGo’s AI search assist says this:
“There are ongoing discussions and concerns about Donald Trump's mental acuity, with some experts suggesting signs of cognitive decline, but no formal diagnosis of dementia has been publicly confirmed. The topic remains controversial and is often debated in the context of his age and public behavior.”
What happens when a guy with dementia takes control of the most powerful army in the history of the world? There's plenty of people here on lemmy cheering military spending by the day with the argument that peace is war, let me ask it again: what happens when a guy with dementia takes control of the army and the most advanced weapons in existence?
He will defeat medicare
Dude was never an intellectual powerhouse but even before the election is was painfully obvious he was getting worse.
But I thought his dad was John Harvard?
Then don't use the A.I.
But not trump is a pedophile! I search that daily. :)
We need a code word to get around censors like they did in China by calling Xi "Panda"
This brings up something that has been bothering me for awhile. It's really been bothering me that when I look up an opinion Gemini will tell me whether my opinion is right or wrong. I knew it would be ripe for abuse.
I had a distrust of google from the get-go back in 1998... no joke. I used yahoo for many years (and yes, I am aware that Yahoo and MSN are not much better in privacy terms) since it had a lot more than just searches. yahoo news was my main source of internet news for a long time in the very early 2000s.
Honestly don't understand this to the point I suspect you're lying or stretching the truth. Search engines were awful in the 90s for a lot of reasons that Google's technology solved.it took another 5-10 years for capitalism to catch up and make their relationship with the tech more symbiotic
Why did you have a distrust of google before their dont be evil slogan?
Funny, how Google has no follow-up, or manual input for their AI.
If google is blocking searches, people are going to avoid google.
They have been doing this for 4 years there just expanding it. 4 years that I noticed in particular.
2021 they stopped providing a lot of information, like links to streaming shows online, Yahoo still has one or two of the hundreds of links available and that is it.
A product from a big box store will not return any results on defective batches, or defective products, and will only provide you the forums run by the manufacturer that they moderate.
Information that was once available is now no longer findable, including articles from established Publications when you know the name date and all the other information, it just does not pull the results anymore. I don't know why on that last one in every case.
If overload is an issue, why not serve a cached answer for this obviously too common question?
Ddg
Don't want to be sued lol.
I just got this from Gemini.
While the White House doctor has stated that Donald Trump is in "excellent cognitive and physical health" and "fully fit" to serve as President, some psychologists and experts have publicly raised concerns and speculated that his public demeanor and behavior could be signs of cognitive decline or conditions like frontotemporal dementia.
