Seriously.
I lost access to my Blizzard account a few years back because both my email and phone numbers changed and were not accessible anymore. They said showing my ID was the only way to get my account back... At which point I decided to let it go. Not worth it.
Aren't platform providers supposed to delete this sort of PII immediately after they've verified it? I think it's more shocking that Discord has just been sitting on all these ID images this whole time to begin with.
