What an interesting use of massive amounts of electricity and fresh water. This AI slop is the most boomer thing I’ve seen on lemmy

So this meme is just regular misinformation then

Wow!!! And no one said anything, they just built it.

That's not how you write a joke. This is misinformation for the extremely gullible

[–] foodandart@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 week ago

The extremely gullible ARE the joke.

No one technically DID say anything, because it was a film set prop.

I'd have a field day with anyone losing their shit over this and thinking it was a real thing, by showing them the film it came from..

[–] froh42@lemmy.world 1 points 1 week ago

Exactly, Just regular misinformation - not AI. As long as it is created by a human people will upvote any slop.

[–] julietOscarEcho@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 week ago (1 children)

I've seen that said, yet there are no stills from said movie, just this one photo. No comment anywhere from the people behind the movie, who would surely love the viral advertising.

[–] stray@pawb.social 1 points 1 week ago

There are multiple articles confirming that this was a prop for a Seth Rogan film erected (lol) temporarily in Maple Ridge, BC in 2021.

It's real and it's a set piece for a 2023 film Joy Ride

[–] Fenrisulfir@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 week ago (2 children)

Is the whole playground the set piece? I can’t imagine someone designing a playground that’s entirely composed of weirdass monkey bar rings.

I pity the designer for never getting to experience childhood

[–] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago

The plastic slide was added. Checked the opening scene and the playground looks pretty normal.

[–] glimse@lemmy.world 5 points 1 week ago

I dunno but the rest of it looks fine to me? It's probably one long set of monkey bar rings with a platform in the middle. And I doubt it's the only thing in the park lol

[–] Coopr8@kbin.earth 2 points 1 week ago

today I learned there are a bunch of movies named Joy Ride

[–] Stamets@lemmy.dbzer0.com 27 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (2 children)

Neat. Slight issue, though. It's not AI.

I am utterly floored by the logic of people who insist that something is AI when it isn't. It's bizarre because you're just acting like an AI. You're making shit up based off of vibes and not actually checking any sources.

I'm noticing it more here, people are questioning reality now, not trusting that anything is real. Even when a post has no need to be AI people will freak out here on Lemmy and declare it is with no proof.

You people always on an AI witch hunt. You could, maybe, check for yourself?

How's that working out for you? Feeling smarter? Superior to the commoner? Crying yourself to sleep alone on your body-length anime pillow?

[–] camelbeard@lemmy.world 2 points 1 week ago

Thanks I really tried to look at this image to find AI stuff, but I could not really find anything obvious. As this image is from 2021 it's notnAI slop.

[–] Fenrisulfir@lemmy.ca -4 points 1 week ago

Thanks for chiming in with the rest of the fucking sheep and not contributing anything new to the conversation while not being fully competent enough to grasp the concept of the voting system.

I don't think it's AI. Probably some guy's art project.

[–] null@lemmy.nullspace.lol 1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Imagine frothing at the mouth this hard over AI. Pathetic.

I just used my microwave for 30 seconds. Are you gonna throw a tantrum about that too?

[–] Fenrisulfir@lemmy.ca -1 points 1 week ago (1 children)

No need my dude. If AI takes your job nothing of value will be lost

[–] null@lemmy.nullspace.lol 1 points 1 week ago

Yeah? What's my job?

[–] wuphysics87@lemmy.ml 14 points 1 week ago (2 children)

It's backwards. The sperm goes from the penis into the vagina.

[–] prole@lemmy.blahaj.zone 5 points 1 week ago

Big if true.

[–] VicksVaporBBQrub@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 week ago (1 children)

Imagine how would things work if it were the other way around. Like cave bats, they just hang on the walls and ceilings until disturbed, then exit en masse.

[–] Kolanaki@pawb.social 2 points 1 week ago* (last edited 1 week ago) (1 children)

ballsac expands and then pops, sending bats flying in all directions

Roses are red,
From the ceiling to the walls,
Damit, girl...

You have a better idea? Less banal idea? Say it then!

[–] fodor@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 week ago

Would you say anything if you were fringe on the project? Hell no, you'd let Bob embarrass himself.
