It is possible to address this, but it would require implementation of anti-corruption, criminal and judicial reform in the US and not only.

And a conservative analysis suggests that such reforms are unlikely in the US the next ~20 years if not more.

Use a VPN, signal messenger, and a phone with graphine on it or at least a keyboard that doesn't need Internet permissions. Also avoid social media and use browser extensions to block ads and scripts, plus use different browsers for different things and ddg or other private search engines. Pay cash and buy second hand whenever possible.
