These are young Republicans caught in a scandal where their private chat logs were leaked revealing disgusting hateful racist speech. The actual Nazis were nothing but hypocrites themselves. Propaganda did a good job of only showing the elite troops, but not every Nazi supporter looked like a buff soldier with a strong jawline. Most of them looked like normal people living normal 1930s lives, bad teeth, malnourished, scarred by measles and what not. They were telling themselves that their Aryan ancestry made them superior despite their obvious flaws, it's the traditional Nazi coping mechanism.
And keep in mind it wouldn't make their ideology any more right if they all looked like demigods. The problem isn't them not conforming to their own ideals, it's the violent oppression justified by those ideals.
