EA has officially unveiled and launched its new battle royale experience, Battlefield REDSEC. There are a couple of surprises included in the free game in addition to the 100-player mode too.

It's a BR so I'm gonna guess "no."

It's FTP from EA, so I'm going to guess "shallow, redundant, buggy, and crammed to the brim with microtransactions"

I wonder how many are running to play a new Battle Royale in 2025. I mean, I have nothing against competition and I wish more Battle Royale (like PUBG) and Team Shooter (like Overwatch) would release. And I'm not even joking. But I wonder how many are interested into Battle Royale right now.

I quite like the genre but it's been completely overtaken and enshittified by skins and micro transactions to the point that I don't even look at them anymore.

Nevermind the fact that I have absolutely zero interest in any EA games anymore.
