Photos I post to Lemmy never come out right. I never had this issue with Reddit and I use same device to upload with. Tried through app Jerbroa and the browser. Can someone help?

Should probably include an example or a side by side comparison of the right and wrong versions.

See if this picture comes out right. And can't post side by side IF ever pic comes out wrong here.

Yeah, what's the problem? That it is rotated?

It's a lemmy bug. There is a git issue for it.

Just upload to an external host and link in. Postimages.org gives you a markdown share link.

Thank you that helps. At least until they fix the bug. Because I like posting pics. Also like the ability to do that in comments. Reddit couldn't do that.

I have a feeling that the official app could do it, just recently. But yeah, it's handy.

Some small instances prefer you to keep images external, all depends on how much space they have and how federated their users are to other big instances.

There is a lot of activity - https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/search?q=image

Something like this has it fixed but that isn't entirely correct when we look at your pic - https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/2494

I see it with no problems whatsoever.

I'm using Jerboa, by the way.
