Never played the first but would buy it in a heartbeat to play on the Steam Deck.

It still holds up very well! If you can get your hands on a copy, it runs great on Xenia

I just want them to fucking update the RDR2 game to play on PS5 at 60fps

You might be better off just getting a PC if you've a really strong preference as to resolution or frame rate on games. Consoles have strong points, but the ability of an end user to add hardware to the equation or make quality tradeoffs in one area to provide benefit in another isn't really their forte.
