Yeah the Russians don’t fly OG Tu-22s anymore. I believe they officially have a handful listed as “reserves”, but if I had to bet on it, they’re probably in deep disrepair, because Russia tends to not really maintain their stuff that’s in mothballs. Or in reserve. Or, in many cases, active service.

I have this dream that one day UA AF happens to have a few surprise F-22s on hand for revealing after the fact via intercepting most of the Russian strategic bomber fleet the next time they do a temper tantrum missile strike.
