If you are on Lemmy.world, you need to update your JWT token. Sorry, this was not intuitive and there is no proper error message. This is my fault and we seriously just never got around to this.

Please go to "Manage Accounts" and then tap your Lemmy.world account. Hit "Edit Account", enter your password, then hit save. You should be back up and running.

Updating account doesn’t fix anything. Unable to post, comment, upvote or downvote. Says “Not logged in” despite being able to see my inbox and all subscribed communities.

I can’t seem to fix my account login. I retype my password, but it then complains about the username - but I can’t edit that and I’m not sure how to remove the account.

Any suggestions?

Idk if this warrants its own post, but is anyone else getting a language_not_allowed error when making a post? I can’t tell if it’s an error with my titles or if it’s just a quirk with the app.

I’ve just started using Memmy and it’s a great app. But I can’t figure out how to pin posts on the community I mod.

Does 2FA not work with Memmy? When trying to log in the screen advances past my username and password after entering it, but then I receive a pop-up error saying I have to enter my token with no place to actually enter it, and I’m just returned back to the join or login screen.

EDIT: Seems to be working now and I’m receiving the token field.

I didn’t actually change anything. I just went back to it later on to try one more time, and the field popped up for me. Maybe it’s related to some of these ongoing authentication issues that have been happening on lemmy.world.

I don’t see it mentioned in the release notes, but I can confirm Memmy now downloads images to share them directly instead of sending a link.
