Games with Gold will also end with current Xbox Live subscribers converted to GamePass Core and will have access to 25 GamePass games for the same $9.99 they pay now.

This is a rumour until something official comes from Microsoft so treat it accordingly.

With the FTC seemingly beaten and the CMA starting to cave to Microsoft Sony have signed a legally binding agreement to keep the Call of Duty games coming to PlayStation for the foreseeable future.

It’s not surprising really as up to 80% of Call of Duty’s revenue comes from PlayStation players. Neither Sony or Microsoft can afford to lose that much cash every year.

Project Q is the upcoming streaming only device that will allow you to play games installed on a PlayStation 5 remotely.
It has not been announced if the handheld will allow streaming of games from the cloud and is rumoured to cost between £250 - £300.

Which is strange because I find older games easier to play as they don’t require any sort of internet connection or mandatory patches. The entire complete and finished game is on the disc/cartridge.

It’s modern games (post 2010) that will become the problem in future as more and more of them only contain a small portion of the game on the disc and the rest must be downloaded.

For point one my parents don’t even bother to read error messages. They just close them then phone me and complain the computer is broken.

I also don’t use Twitter and haven’t for many years now. Even longer for Facebook.

It’s the volume of person data it scoops up. I don’t understand why anyone would happily share that much information just to use a social media app.

I’m not convinced of the benefits of allowing third party apps on the iPhone. I used to have a Galaxy and the store was full of shovelware.

As long as I don’t have to keep a lightning cable just for my phone I’ll be happy. Everything else I have is USB-C.

So the 2027 iPhone should have USB-C and a removable battery as long as it’s bought in the EU. Luckily they’re all unlocked and it’s only 35 minutes on the train from England to France. Guess I’ll be getting my phones from France from 2027.

Would be nice. We have decentralised replacements for Twitter and Reddit now we just need one for YouTube that’s beyond the reach of the corporate assholes. Imagine being able to swear within the first 30 seconds of a video and not get buried where it will never be seen.
