Yea but if Perez shits the bed the rest of the year thereโs a good chance they take a closer look at ricciardo. If Perez is still failing come summer โ24 SOMEONE else will be given the chance surely
Ricciardo's current role is team mascot. There is no way he returns to Red Bull and anyone paying attention can see it. He's there to drum up views on the socials.
He left in the first place because he didn't want to be second to Verstappen. And he failed at being the lead driver at both Renault and McLaren. With McLaren choosing to go after rookie piastri.
Unless Ricciardo gets desperate and accepts the Haas offer. I don't think we'll be seeing him on the grid anytime soon.
This comment aged pretty quickly. A driver always wants to race, and he's clearly pretty happy about it.
