Alt: "Choose your own radical identity" followed by an anarchist flag with half of it being blank. Next to it are crayons in different colors, referencing different anarchist orientations using different colours to fill the space. At the bottom it says: "A DIY activity book for ages 9-12"

Not with the half black flag it isn't, that's "an"caps.

[–] Timecircleline@sh.itjust.works 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Is that just extreme libertarianism? Legitimately curious.

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 9 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Libertarianism has roots in leftism, actually, the Capitalists appropriated the word.

Either way, Anarcho-Capitalism is an ideology surrounding the magical idea that Capitalism can exist without a state. The delusional people that follow such an ideology like to imagine that security forces would be paid for, and somehow be better than public forces, in order to uphold the legitimacy of Private Property. They also foolishly believe that monopoly wouldn't happen because there isn't a state to prop them up.

AnCaps are just edgier libertarian Capitalists with even less common sense, surprisingly.

[–] TheFermentalist@lemm.ee 5 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Less common sense and even more problematic attitudes about consent and age.

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 3 points 1 year ago

Somehow it always gets worse with them.

Interesting, thank you!

Green is typically eco-anarchism, which can align with solar punk but not necessarily.

[–] itslilith@lemmy.blahaj.zone 4 points 1 year ago

That's dark green

I’m gonna colour it in black, and add a white skull and crossbones on top.

What instance is that?

[–] Lux@lemmy.blahaj.zone 25 points 1 year ago

That's just the piracy community

[–] BautAufWasEuchAufbaut@lemmy.blahaj.zone 15 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago) (1 children)

blahaj.zone's flag is the anarcha-feminist flag (purple) and everybody who disagrees is dividing the movement /j

[–] Leviathan@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Can you expand on this a bit? Are they disagreeing with the colors? Or with anarcho-feminism?

I wasn't being serious, there's no truth in that comment - I added a tone indicator

[–] OozingPositron@feddit.cl 12 points 1 year ago (3 children)

Black. I don't know what it is for but an all black flag would look cool.

[–] boborhrongar@lemmy.world 12 points 1 year ago

It's one of the oldest anarchist flags, actually.

[–] Mint@lemmy.one 6 points 1 year ago* (last edited 1 year ago)

Black. Is just an older version of an anarchist flag

The black flag has been associated with anarchism since the 1880s, when several anarchist organizations and journals adopted the name Black Flag.

You'd much rather have a black skull and bones, rather than red. Black means they're gonna rob you, but if you don't fight back, they won't kill you. Red means death either way.

[–] ThatFembyWho@lemmy.blahaj.zone 11 points 1 year ago

I see a bunch of colors, I draw rainbows.

Queer-anarchism or something

[–] cupcakezealot@lemmy.blahaj.zone 10 points 1 year ago (1 children)

this is absurd.

everyone knows the answer is always dandelion, the crayon so powerful crayola retired it.

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 15 points 1 year ago

Gross, anarcho-capitalism

[–] Cowbee@lemmy.ml 9 points 1 year ago

Red would be closest for me. Syndicalism is pretty based, as well as Anarcho-Communism.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Everyone but the mutualists say it’s mutualism, they say they’re covered by red

[–] alsaaas@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 9 months ago* (last edited 9 months ago) (1 children)

luckily no actual red would ever include mutualists (in the red)

smth smth the hell of capitalism is the firm, not the fact that it has a boss smth smth markets force even cooperatives to behave like capitalist cooperations smth smth

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 1 points 9 months ago (1 children)

What are you going to do? Shoot them in the back about it?

[–] alsaaas@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 9 months ago

...no? I just wouldn't include them as reds, tho they still seem to be generally anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, progressive and so on

even if they're largely irrelevant and an internet phenomenon
