It's very pretty! Did you pipe the chocolate swirls on a plastic wrap or something before putting the cake on and rolling it up?
Close! The chocolate swirls are chocolate cake batter piped onto the baking paper and briefly baked so they hold their shape, then I poured on the vanilla batter and finished baking as instructed.
That's so cool. It came out great.

Whats inside?
Whipped cream and fruit (kiwi, strawberry, banana, and preserved mandarin orange).
Definitely doesn't look like the result of someone who is "usually very bad at decorating cake."
Anybody who decorates enough cakes to be able to make a statement about how it "usually" comes out can't be too bad at it!
Oooh and rolled cakes are tough, good job!
