ICE is probably one of the few government "services" that DOGE should gut...

A lot of people suggesting Bi-polar, but to offer a different opinion, ADHD could also fit. Emotional disregulation is often overlooked as a symptom in ADHD, especially in women.

I could suggest this video as a jumping off point for further investigation.

I will also share my experience, because female hormones are really wild, and I think sharing can help others recognize what is "normal" and what can be done. I would say that you've given a description which I could apply to myself. I am neither bi-polar nor ADHD. Occasionally I will be having a standard to good week, and without any clear trigger, I will be extremely depressed and emotional. I will, without fail, start my period 2-3 days later. I can also, somewhat reliably trigger panic attacks by drinking to the point that I would call "buzzed" in the 2-3 days before my period. Fortunately or unfortunately, effects of the menstrual cycle can change as you age. These predictable "lows" that I experience only started when I was around 25.

TL;DR You should also talk to your ob/gyn, and an endocrinologist, in addition to a psychiatrist.

Edit: After a bit of research and asking around, it seems that this is likely Cystolepiota bucknallii

Hi! I came across this strange little thing last week and have been struggling to ID it. I'm hoping that maybe someone here can help.

It was found growing in the soil of a mixed forrest, lots of birch, elder, and larch, 10km or so north of the German alps.

Maybe the photo isn't super clear, but the stem is not hollow. And one very distinct feature is that it stank like gasoline or hot plastic. The smell was strong and lingered on my hands long after handling it.

Thank you!

If you bring the wine, you're welcome any time!

I would absolutely love to grow my own, but I unfortunately don't have the space :(

What are you growing?

3 for 3! Do you also collect wild mushrooms? (Though there is also one teeny tiny penny bun tucked in there)

Thanks! There is no specific recipe that I use, but it's basically Cacio e Pepe with pan fried mushrooms and a bit of shallot (no other veg).

A colleague asked if they could join me on a mushroom hunt, we were lucky and found some beautiful wild mushrooms!

I wass lucky enough to find some morels while walking the dog today, so I made pasta with morels and wild garlic and a cocktail made with homemade elder syrup.

I'm usually very bad at decorating cake, so hopefully this one is nice enough to be considered food porn!
