OK my transfer from #Firefox to #Vivaldi now fully complete. No buyers remorse at all.

#Passkeys on every site you can, make everything so much better, btw

A few notes:

#Vivaldi after tweaking UX really can be a #Calmtech solution - at least as much as any browser can. But you can tweak EVERYTHING on it.

#Vivaldi's RSS feed feature - way more helpful than I thought.

#Already have about 10 ideas on how they could integrate the Fedi even more into the browser.

@tchambers@indieweb.social @jon@vivaldi.net @brucelawson@vivaldi.net I like Vivaldi and understand you can craft it to what you want it to be. But for this burnt out and overwhelmed IT pro I want simplicity from the start. Not to spend a bunch of time turning things off and crafting the UI to an ideal state.

I may kick the tire on Vivaldi again as I’ve also grown tired of Mozilla and there just isn’t anything compelling to me in the browser market.

@tchambers@indieweb.social @jon@vivaldi.net @brucelawson@vivaldi.net I'm sad it uses chromium, but otherwise it is a nice piece of software

@tchambers@indieweb.social @jon@vivaldi.net @brucelawson@vivaldi.net Vivaldi is great. I use it as my primary browser on Linux and iOS.

Are we somehow re-entering the browser wars of 1998?

@tchambers@indieweb.social @jon@vivaldi.net @brucelawson@vivaldi.net I love the workspaces. Really helps organize my work (I'm a web developer, writer, pro gamer, food critic, and visual artist). I had been using Vivaldi for most of this year for language learning. Love the translation tab. But I just found an issue with Youtube URLs that I will post about. (Probably should file a bug report).
