Famous for it’s boondoggle bridge. Just drove over it today.

They should have kept the drawbridge. Sitting in traffic jams on i75 there was awesome.

I’m not saying it isn’t needed but the story behind it totally makes it a boondoggle. They could have tried to do a good job but didn’t.

Fun fact about that bridge is that it’s slowly sinking into that river and they have to perform construction on it constantly to keep it from being a death trap
