It would be pretty weird for a non-dinosaur fossil to be haunted by a dinosaur ghost. I suppose dinosaur fossils could be though.

Honestly, if you're interested and you don't wanna buy the books try Balder's Gate 3. If you don't wanna do that then check out a playthrough of it.

It would explain all the Lizard People acting as mediums for the Dinosaur Ghosts running the world.
