It's not "leftist" to think that Russia should get to kill Ukrainians and steal their land and children with no consequences, maybe if they didn't constantly regurgitate that garbage they wouldn't get blocked so much

Are you lying or just ignorant? You know why r/genzedong got banned from reddit right? You've seen memes and opinions and bans on the instances you say aren't pro-russia, right? You think they're just being "ironic" when they get excited about Putin "getting the gang back together"? (invading Ukraine and stealing children)

As for the rest I haven't seen that, no.
They may be more likely to side with any force opposing NATO/US/the west in international issues, however there's no love for Putin or the post-USSR regime. Not supporting the USA on an international conflict is just, to them, the path to breaking western imperialism. That doesn't mean they think Putin is a good dude, or that in any leftist country they envision Putin to be president.

I'm not expecting you to agree with their views I'm just tired of people being completely wrong about WHAT their views are.
Genzedong was a ML subreddit that got banned shortly into russia's invasion of Ukraine, bc they constantly shared and upvoted memes supporting russian troops and justifying the invasion. I bet hex was just as bad, and obviously grad is, and the only reason we don't still hear about it is bc they're broken clocks who have been more preoccupied with israeli genocide in Gaza. Has there been a huge shift in ml circles where people don't circlejerk about putin as much anymore? I checked a hex community and the only recent pro-ruzzia post I saw had more downvotes than upvotes, it would be pretty awesome if they stopped worshiping russian dictators who want me dead
Okay. I got this discussion 2x already. I don't have to prove anything to you. I almost exclusively see people excusing atrocities if done "by the right people"... same fascism, different color.
