So the Jews are running the world after all!

Is a ski mask just a beanie that covers your entire head? If so, I guess this still makes sense: Bank robber lol

[–] Clinicallydepressedpoochie@lemmy.world 21 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Real bank robbers are behind the desk.

[–] ThePantser@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

No, they are people robbers, similar but different.

[–] Agent641@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

The banks' robbers

[–] Carvex@lemmy.world 64 points 1 month ago (1 children)

You forgot the most important, smallest, highest ranking beanie, the yarmulke!

[–] RubberElectrons@lemmy.world 11 points 1 month ago

That's pretty good hahaha

[–] Lemjukes@lemm.ee 28 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Ah yes this stupid ass post that thinks baristas are making more than construction workers and forklift drivers…

[–] ShinkanTrain@lemmy.ml 11 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Not to mention drug dealers, which can vary a lot

[–] solsangraal@lemmy.zip 21 points 1 month ago (1 children)

as someone with an unreasonably large head, the gamer beanie still too small

[–] PunnyName@lemmy.world 10 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

Right? Fuck all these small headed people that look good with beanies. I just want my ears to stay warm!

I don't wear a beanie, that explains why I keep failing upwards.

[–] Onomatopoeia@lemmy.cafe 6 points 1 month ago

Yea, I don't know anyone, anywhere I've ever worked that wore a beanie.

Except when I did construction, or mechanic, or maintenance... You know, where we were outside in the cold.

[–] Xanthrax@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Why would I wear a beanie and have cold ears?!

[–] tfw_no_toiletpaper@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago (2 children)

Because you are going bald lmao

[–] Xanthrax@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

My hairline is receding faster than the Russians, but my ears are what I'm what I'm worried about.

[–] SkyezOpen@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Woah hey why do you have to bring up the fact that Tim Pool is going bald?

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

I guess to assert your dominance

[–] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 14 points 1 month ago (2 children)

False. I wear no beanie at all and am not yet emperor.

[–] zagaberoo@beehaw.org 6 points 1 month ago

You fell into the asymptote; even the mighty beanie can't divide by zero. Try wearing a single thread from a beanie instead.

[–] Maggoty@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

Then you should probably put your beanie back on before the guards see you...

[–] Kolanaki@yiffit.net 8 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The first style could also be a seaman on a merchant mariner vessel.

I wear the bottom right beanie, but my career is of the top left. Have I broken the rules? Nobody informed me of beanie etiquette.

[–] eestileib@sh.itjust.works 6 points 1 month ago

Make it even smaller and you can become Rocky Balboa's trainer.

[–] AnUnusualRelic@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago (2 children)

What about the propeller? Does it mean anything?

Can confirm, currently wearing a #4 beanie and I am looking for work.

[–] Shanedino@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

To some extent it's just a representation of people who wear a beanie for functionality vs looks.

[–] Xuderis@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Fun fact: rock climbers wear beanies to prevent them from falling.

[–] Clinicallydepressedpoochie@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Construction workers do not sacrifice their bodies to be paid less than a barista

[–] RememberTheApollo_@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

#4, also influencer.

[–] nifty@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Oh snap, guess I am kitchen staff o7

[–] peoplebeproblems@midwest.social 2 points 1 month ago

Where does one get a tiny beanie? Not because I'm a software engineer, but because it looks hilarious

[–] Ponygirl42@lemmy.wtf 2 points 1 month ago

Lol as a bartender I am clearly waaaaay lower on the so to-economic ladder.

[–] Duamerthrax@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The fact the Forklift Operators are paid less then UX Designers is a crime against humanity.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

Driving a forklift is quite a bit easier than designing great user experiences, and requires a lot less training and experience.

Source: I've done both

[–] Duamerthrax@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

And I haven't seen good, modern user design.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

UX and UI/design aren't the same thing. You can have a great UX with a super basic UI. But your statement is a testament to how much skill is required to create a good UX.

[–] Duamerthrax@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Seems like more effort goes into breaking good UX design now.

[–] Anticorp@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

True that. All these asshole companies trying to force their apps by intentionally breaking their mobile site. I sure miss the days when mobile first responsive development was the new hotness.

[–] Zelaf@sopuli.xyz 2 points 1 month ago

Why is this so accurate??
