So when are they going to do a completely unedited interview with Drumph? I hear he has the best words.

He WILL make you mad and angry

I signed away my right to shake'em unfortunately. I just channel it all into making 3am digeridoo noises

Kid has a penis and is 1wk old. I feel like the day to day right now is just making sure he's not sitting in his own piss/shit and feeding him until he passes out every 2-3 hrs. He's 1wk old so I don't know when I'm supposed to start stimulating him, but there's very little awake time that isn't either "I'm sitting in my own peepoo"..."my ping pong sized stomach is empty"...or just crying for whatever reason other than the first two. It seems every time he feeds, he conks out until the next feeding/diaper change so I take great pride in creating a tit milk drunk baby that passes tfo (pumping only *will explain below). We put him on his stomach to piss him off and develop some neck/back muscles every now and then when he's not full of my wife's liquid gold. I sing to him (I'm a vocalist/amateur musician sort of) when I'm doing the war crime of changing or swaddling (I roll tight burritos) but that's about it. Mild case of jaundice but rebounded hard after we started pumping/bottle feeding. Most likely related to not getting enough food. See *

I come from a moderately high performing family (doctors/stem professionals and such) so theres a lot of pressure to make sure this kid isnt a dipshit. I'm playing all kinds of music while he sleeps (doesn't seem to be affected by noise while sleeping) but I can't teach the kid math until he at least understands object permanence right? I also feel like all that classical music Montessori stuff isbcomplete horseshit and I'm much more concerned with just making sure the kid is a good person but I also want onto pull the right levers and flip the right switches where I can.

The bottom line is: Am I doing it wrong or is this it for a while until he can stay awake while changed and fed? Is it normal? I feel like I'm just drugging a child to sleep. Looking for any input. Thanks.

Also, if there's any words of wisdom for my anxious wife (see *) that would be helpful. She's struggling with the whole breast feeding issue even though she's creating a massive surplus at day 7 and we've only supplemented with formula for 3 feeds total. I'm super proud of her for pushing through cracked sensitive nips and I'm stoked that this kid is getting anything natural but she feels like a failure for not direct feeding which i guess i understand is "ideal" but shes killing it pumping. My reassurances don't seem to comfort her unfortunately

*Kid falls asleep 1min after he latches without fail and my wife is super anxious about not breast feeding but she pumps out a surplus of milk. He wasnt getting enough sustenance after birth but he's ravenous on the bottle. 2-4 oz every feed maybe 2.50z average.

Edit: my biggest gripe is that I'm killing 24/7 and this kid has literally no sense of humor. I was hoping for paternal instinct but all I got was killer dad jokes.

Def not the resolution you want for this magnitude.

I find that after waking up from said 20 min nap, it's good to yell "aaaarrrggggghhhhh fuck meeeeeee" and then move on with the day. Really stretches the lungs out.

They could have put <0.01 but either way there's no real society/culture there to bwgin with. I personally wouldn't have even included it on the map.

I will say if they were included on education stats, they would probably top all global charts.

Just don't look up how it's made. I still eat it but it's definitely on my mind when I do.

If you don't want to spend the 30, just wishlist it and wait to pounce while you play something else. It's not going anywhere unless you are.

PSU is definitely not the top of the list but still in the wheel house. Takes a lot of force before it snaps off with the snips. Send it over.

Figured I'd give yall a break from the horrors of the present day

My current build is:

  • 1080 GTX
  • i7 7600
  • 32gb DDR4
  • 512Gb SSD (my worst decision)
  • Built in 2016
  • Running great knocks on wood

Due to the outcome of the election (not getting into how I feel about that), tariffs and electronics trade is likely to be a big issue. And I keep seeing articles about how pcs and consoles are likely to have a massive jump in price (40% is the # I keep seeing).

Ive been meaning to wholesale and make a new build for a while now because any update would likely mean a new mobo which in turn would mean updates on everything else. I'm not in the best situation financially and have a baby on the way but I could totally stand to drop ~$3K on another "future proof" build.

I guess the question is, should I pull the trigger now before the new administration takes power? Assuming 40% increase, a $3k pc would be $4.2k or I stick with $3k and sacrifice the difference in power and future proofing.

The alternative would be delve into lighter and "retro" games in the future and just be content with that. There's a few "2070RTX minimum" games I'd like to play right now and it will only get worse in that respect as time moves on.

Note: not looking to discuss the new administration in any other way but this. Please no political bullshit.

Im building my wife a PC and now that my SLI is useless (for a few years now), I figured I'd give her my extra GPU.

I disabled the SLI in the control panel, powered down, popped the SLI and 2nd GPU out and gave my wifes pc the extra 1080. My PC started up fine, I booted up a game, and about 10 min in, the screen froze for about 10 seconds and then appeared to restart and now I have no video output. Did I brick my gpu? Any ideas on how to proceed?

I'm only panicking a lot.

Trying to build a pink case for the wife that's relatively future proof. No gaming, just web browsing, music (not production), YouTube, and ms office stuff.

The problem is that I've only built two machines and this is the first time I'm doing a color scheme. Im also stuck between DDR4 and 5. I don't think she needs the power but if I don't get the 5 now I feel like I'd have to replace the mobo if she needs to upgrade.

If theres any suggestions yall have to make it more compatible, more pink, cheaper, or more powerful without spending much more, please roast me on it (don't change the case though she's set on that).

Built a gaming PC back in 2018 (windows 10, GTX1080, i7, eset security).

For the past year or so it wakes up every now and then and for a few months it started waking up to my logged in desktop screen. Hasnt happened for about a month or so but it still eakes up even with my mouse and keyboard disconnected. I don't do any tormenting or anything sketchy. It's a really clean machine built for gaming, YouTube, office work stuff. I don't visit any "low brow" sites (that's what my tablet (not connected to the PC) is for). It didn't start happening after any specific download that I can remember.

Anyway, I can't find anything relevant online that helps me so I figured I'd ask here if anyone knows what this is about.
