I'm not white and live in a red area, would love to sign up but also concerned it puts me on a list.

Yeah I mean if we're going to be framed as doing the things we aren't doing...

...let's just do them.

Wow that's some bullshit. They deserve this boycott.

This is kind of where I'm at. I could buy a US made shotgun for 2-3x a foreign one, or I could buy the foreign one which is just as effective against billionaires and use the saved money to help my community more.

A company I do work for sometimes recently had an open req, within 48 hours they had received over 400 applications.

Another 300 or so over the next few days following.

It then took a month to wade through them all (even with automated help) and do some preliminary phone screens.

Another couple few weeks to do legitimate interviews with prospects.

Another week to decide.

And then executive leadership claimed the company didn't have the budget anymore and closed the req down.

Insane.

Are they intended as a conversationalist?

Honestly if I didn't live literally across the nation I'd maybe consider it.

The geographic spread of the US makes things like this difficult. It makes organized revolt difficult too. But hopefully not impossible.

Ah I should have clarified, they own the building. But otherwise yes, you're right.

Also they spelled Perplexity wrong.

Also I stopped using Perplexity, despite a 2 year free premium membership, when the CEO decided to be a dipshit.
