No hate, but I cannot fathom feeling the way you do about Micro USB and not spending $200 on some of the very solid Android phones that have come out in the 9 years since USB C has been the standard.

I wouldn’t mind a metal back with a circle of glass for charging, but that is a very un-apple aesthetic.

I get you’re going for the literal “retarded”, like the “developmentally delayed” kind.. but man that was a bold choice to use the word literally in the same sentence as calling them weirdos lol

I didn’t know there was a distinction based on length. What is ‘active’?

One has to wonder how far back her intent to murder literal new born babies originated. Last year, when she got the job, when she was getting her degree, further back? How long and hard has this woman been working towards murdering babies?

Ought to just pump her veins full of air and insulin. See how she likes it.

Saw a turd like this in the toilet at school in 2nd grade and I’ll never forget it

This is my take too. Reality has a liberal bias, and people doing skilled/educated work tend to have a firmer grasp on reality

Privilege breeds idiocy

This is very interesting. I’m not diagnosed but strongly suspect I’m on the spectrum and the article rings true for me.

I generally avoid confrontation but I will gladly ruin a whole conversation if I feel like someone else believes something I find immoral or unethical

Mine is mainly a YouTube and Books machine. During the NFL season I’ll use it to keep tabs on games that my team isn’t in, or pull up NFL Redzone as a PiP kind of setup from the couch.

Sometimes I use it for recipes too

The bootlickers over at r/apple have been defending this for years

Do updates arrive sooner on test pilot, or is there parity between TP and the App Store?

I think this should be prioritized in order to help with the insane growth and associated costs of Rexxit.

It may not make sense for 100% of proceeds to go to Lemmy devs, but something like 70/30 or 60/40 split (in favor of the instance host) would be a great idea to help us support the scaling effort.

Edit: I guess I'll take my L. This seems to be a pretty unpopular take, and I understand why. We'll see where things end up in a few months when these suckers start getting actually big

Still definitely a work in progress but it's great so far.
