That worked! Thanks for the help and keep up the awesome work 😄

The TestFlight purchase carried over. Any way I can “delete” the lifetime from TestFlight?

I can’t see my own posts in my profile. However, when I disable “hide read posts”, they do show up.

I think it’s not optimal having to change that setting to see my own posts. Or am I alone in this?

Yeah there’s still some thing I’m personally looking for:

  • configurable swipe actions (upvote/downvote/reply for left/right short/long swipe)
  • clear view if you’re subscribed to an instance, like a prominent “subscribe”-button (or unsub)
  • comment sorting options (I think this is being worked on)
  • hide NSFW posts with a simple toggle (instead of just blurring posts or hiding NSFW instances altogether)
  • custom dark/light mode themes when setting theme to automatic. So choose which theme you want to use for light mode and which for dark mode.
  • the ability to edit comments
  • there is a bookmark function in Bean, but those posts seem separate from the saved posts I already had. Would be great if they’d be merged.
  • the option to jump straight to the thread from the “inbox” folder.

What functionality are you missing?

I just switched from Memmy to Bean. Looks soooooo much better, coming from a UI/UX/webdesigner

This is the first time I heard about this. Was using it in the past on iOS, but I’m now using an extension in safari to block ads. What exactly is wrong with Brave?

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Not even joking. Sometimes our phones are on for weeks, and that could lead to weird bugs such as this one.

Is that Carmageddon? Great choice of game haha

All the more reason to never use reddit again, even if they revert the API pricing

Just tried it and you’re right! Thanks!

Ah, I thought you meant a setting to hide a post after a upvote or downvote. This setting is for hiding read posts, so not quite what I meant. Thanks anyway!

Awesome! Where in settings is it? I can only see “hide on read”

I used to hide on upvote / downvote, would be cool if Lemmy adds this as an option too

Just migrated from Reddit to Lemmy. On Reddit, I used the setting “hide posts after downvoting or upvoting”.

Is there a similar setting for Lemmy, so my feed shows only posts that I haven’t seen?
