Infinity for reddit mentioned trying to keep developing and if they can't get API access, they said pivoting to a lemmy client is on the table. They posted this in their sub on reddit.
Exciting since I infinity for reddit is a fdroid only client that rawks!

Give it time. The community was very small for a very long time. There wasn't a big need or push for detailed mobile functionality.

Tbf the watches didn't really do much on their own. A factory reset didn't do too much, let's hope that changes as wear is matures.
