Clickbait title. I don’t plan to be living over the next few centuries or millennia. There are plenty of reasons to not buy a beach house but this ain’t one of them.

Your fictional alternate reality is meaningless as any kind of argument, since it’s fiction. Therefore this just seems like thinly veiled racism at worst, or at best some kind of misplaced apologist bullshit for the horrors inflicted by every colonizing nation ever.

The rest of the animal isn’t around a hot dog casing.

You are now a mod of /c/fuckcars.

Yeah the cassette era was a dark time. We are only just now recovering from the death of all music back in the 80's.

Luigi was at my house playing Xbox all day that day.

The crossover we’ve all been waiting for.

That’s not a reason to avoid resistance. They created the situation. The violence is on them. Hopefully, literally.

This is an Xbox.

What??? Humanity is the top dog on this planet precisely because we are so good at overcoming nature’s limits. Idiot billionaires committing suicide via stupidity doesn’t change that fact.

That’s what we need. An LLM with independence.

Doesn’t appear that way

Anybody know what setting I need to modify to make weather radar sites work in Librewolf? I've tried several from my local news sites, NOAA, aviation sites, etc. They all just show a blank box where the radar graphics would be. I've tried enabling WebGL and checking canvas permissions which they don't seem to want anyway. Not sure what else could be causing this.

I only have two plugins, Bitwarden and UBlock Origin, and I tried turning UBlock off for some of the sites to no effect, so I'm thinking it has to be a Librewolf setting. The sites work fine in vanilla Firefox.

Even though I played for many hours after the 1.0 release last year... huh?

Switched to Linux a little over a year ago and it's been great, but one thing eludes me. What's the best way to do the following when you don't use Windows or MacOS?

  1. Manage music collection - on Windows I used iTunes to sync my mp3's to the phone. Is there a linux solution?

  2. Manage SMS from desktop - I'd like to be able to read and reply to SMS messages on my iPhone from the linux PC right in front of me instead of this rinky dink iPhone soft keyboard. Is this possible?

And how the hell does anyone but a child type on an iPhone anyway, while we're at it? (rhetorical) Grrrr.

Thanks!

I would love to hear stories about how you came up with whatever unique name you call your SO. Nothing graphic and don’t doxx yourself, I just think some nice stories like that would be fun for everyone in these ridiculous times.

My cats fully agree with this assessment.

I don't miss those days. Restaurants were the worst. Yes, your smoke is able to go over the invisible nonexistent fucking barrier between your seats and mine.

A huge win for animal rights. It's not perfect, but we shouldn't let the absence of perfection get in the way of celebrating progress.

edit: Edited the title to clarify this is only for Mexico City, not all of Mexico.

This guy went to great lengths to acquire the thing (and the company that makes the thing) that ultimately killed him.

Also has croutons and baby bella mushrooms. Shredded carrots. Lots of green peppers. I like green peppers.

I'm so psyched about the Satisfactory 1.0 launch and I just finished Dyson Sphere Project so I'm fidgeting looking for something to do. Don't want to get sucked into a new game, so I thought maybe I could kill the next couple weeks by making a bunch of sweet blueprints in the current release before 1.0 comes out, especially to help speed up the early and mid games which I've played through 3 times now. Does anyone know if they are planning to change anything in 1.0 that would make current blueprints incompatible?

Also is there an editor or god mode where I can just sit making blueprints instead of having to farm resources just to play with blueprints? I don't want to start an actual playthrough until 1.0 comes out.

I've just switched over from Windows to Linux for my daily driver in the last few weeks, and after the initial learning curves everything seems pretty solid. The only thing I really, really need for some games is the ability to rebind keys that the game itself doesn't allow. Examples would be Orcs Must Die 1 (no rebinding at all) or Dyson Sphere Program (my current issue) which has the E key hardcoded. I use ESDF for movement so I have to rebind pretty much every game.

I had tons of AutoHotKey scripts in Windows but I haven't found anything comparable in Linux. What do you guys use? I've looked at AHK_X11 but every post I saw about it says it doesn't work. I tried Autokey but found it clunky and it didn't work properly in-game (micro-pauses between key repeats).

Really just looking for something that can easily rebind a few keys just for a game session. I know I'm going to have to learn xdotool and python for mouse stuff, that's on my to-do list. :) But the vast majority of my games just need rebinding a few keys. Throw your wisdom at me. Thanks!
