Question, why did Biden do this?

[–] dessalines@lemmy.ml 9 points 2 weeks ago

White genocide

[–] dessalines@lemmy.ml 13 points 2 weeks ago

The oil magnates were the first to perceive the prize that could be extracted from the wide distribution of the motorcar. If people could be induced to travel in cars, they could be sold the fuel necessary to move them. For the first time in history, people would become dependent for their locomotion on a commercial source of energy. There would be as many customers for the oil industry as there were motorists—and since there would be as many motorists as there were families, the entire population would become the oil merchants’ customers. The dream of every capitalist was about to come true. Everyone was going to depend for their daily needs on a commodity that a single industry held as a monopoly.

More apartments in the US have it than not nowadays. It's anywhere from 50-100 a month.

The democrats aren't also war hungry? Why did the Biden regime do this:

Why did the Obama regime do this?

After winning the Nobel peace prize, he dropped an average of 30k bombs / year (80 per day) during his presidency, mostly on Muslim countries, 2, 3. In 2016 alone, dropped 26,171 bombs in the Middle East and North Africa, up 3000 from the previous year. The countries bombed include Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Libya, and Somalia.

No, but it already has language support for most languages. As a decades long vim user who fully moved to helix, it didn't lack anything I needed.

Democrats are not pleased that their pivot to asia strategy failed so completely.

The authoritarian Starmer regime has no depths to which it won't sink.

Most of europe traded with nazi germany until the war broke out, but the US trade with nazi germany was especially egregious, as some US companies continued business and making profits during the war. Ford, GE, IBM, and Dow chemical are really bad cases. Coke even re-branded its operations in nazi germany as "fanta", to be able to continue making a profit during the war.

Thanks to @toldry for adding this.

Losers uninvited themselves this year.

Happy reunification day to Vietnam!

Lemmy Release v0.19.11

What is Lemmy?

Lemmy is a self-hosted social link aggregation and discussion platform. It is completely free and open, and not controlled by any company. This means that there is no advertising, tracking, or secret algorithms. Content is organized into communities, so it is easy to subscribe to topics that you are interested in, and ignore others. Voting is used to bring the most interesting items to the top.

Changes

This release fixes a security vulnerability which allows an attacker to delete images uploaded by other users. You can read the details in the security advisory. Thanks to @Nothing4You for discovering and fixing it.

Here is our regular update that explains what we have been working on for the past two weeks. This should allow average users to keep up with development, without reading Github comments or knowing how to program.

Support development

@dessalines and @nutomic are working full-time on Lemmy to integrate community contributions, fix bugs, optimize performance and much more. This work is funded exclusively through donations.

If you like using Lemmy, and want to make sure that we will always be available to work full time building it, consider donating to support its development. Recurring donations are ideal because they allow for long-term planning. But also one-time donations of any amount help us.
