Well yes, that centralization of power is implied by the term. But who it benefits is not.
I'm drawing a distinction between a human and a system of laws.
An important difference is that a system of laws is dumb, blind, gameable and breakable. A human, much less so.

I don't see the connection.
When I meditate I sometimes perceive strange stuff. That's the encountering.
I have encountered what might be called "spirits" and a "creator". So that's relevant.
Think of it as a telescope or a microscope. It delivers a new way of seeing. Among other things.
