That's been my thoughts as well.

Eliminate income tax on anyone making less than, say 500,000 per year. Then aggressively tax wealth and those making more.

Is this a MASSIVE shake up? Absolutely! Would it likely be a bit messy? Definitely!

But we are at a point where such fundamental change is necessary

I do a lot of programming, which is generally easiest with the US layout (since most languages were designed using this) but I also type frequently in a couple other languages which have extra characters. For me it's easier to use than switching layouts.

I can't live without the EurKey layout! Even had to get approval to add it to our systems at one megacorp I worked for.

There is no such thing as illegal immigrants.

I mean, I'm not saying that this isn't a valid opinion, but it's certainly not a majority opinion.

It's almost certainly inclusive.

Yeah the UK prices are often insane, even compared to DB (which is also insane)

I don't think it's a controversial concept that people in the postwar era wore more suits/dresses.

Just look up photos from back then.

Personally I would hate to have to wear a suit, but I can see why people like the aesthetic.

Not to mention, anyone who has worked in the US gets a SSN, not just citizens or current residents.

I know a bunch of people over here in europe who have them after working a few months/ years in the US.

Mackerel in tomato sauce is my go to snack. I just eat it with a fork straight from the tin

It depends how you forward images. I assume they are referring to how many/most services (like whatsapp/discord/telegram etc) don't just send the original file, but do some compression to save data. Do this a bunch of times and you end up with a photo that starts to show noticeable artifacts/pixellation.

That's my take at least

I don't think you realize how rich musk is.

If you scaled the numbers above to the whole US population, the fine would be something around $17 Billion.

Musk's net worth is over 20x that!

Extreme inequality causes extreme instability
